Delete Your Account
Effective as of March 4, 2026
You can delete your Score Keeper account directly from within the app. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. This page explains how to delete your account, what data is removed, and what data is retained.
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the Score Keeper app on your device.
- Go to the Settings tab (bottom navigation bar).
- Scroll down to the Online section.
- Tap Delete Account.
- A confirmation dialog will appear. Tap Delete Account to confirm.
Your account and all associated online data will be permanently deleted immediately.
Data That Is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:
- Account credentials — Your email address and password are removed from the authentication system.
- Profile — Your nickname, avatar emoji, and avatar color are deleted.
- Friend connections — All friend relationships are removed. Your friends will no longer see you in their friends list.
- Friend requests — All pending friend requests you sent or received are deleted.
- Team invitations — All pending team invitations you sent or received are deleted.
- Team memberships — You are removed from all teams you are a member of.
Team Ownership
If you are the owner of a team:
- Teams with other members — Ownership is automatically transferred to another team member. The team and its history remain intact for the remaining members.
- Teams where you are the only member — The team is deleted entirely, including all associated game history.
Game History
Online game history that involved other users (team games, shared games) may still appear in those users' history. Your name will be displayed as "Deleted User" in their records.
Data That Is NOT Deleted
The following data is not affected by account deletion:
- Local game data — All games, scores, players, and templates stored locally on your device remain untouched. The app continues to work fully offline.
- Local backups — Any backup files you exported are stored on your device or cloud storage and are not affected.
Data Retention
Account deletion is processed immediately. There is no waiting period or grace period. Once you confirm deletion, your data is permanently removed from our servers and cannot be recovered.
If you wish to use online features again after deleting your account, you will need to create a new account with a new email address and set up a new nickname.

If you are unable to delete your account from within the app (for example, if you cannot sign in), you can request account deletion by contacting us at zahidtekbas@outlook.com. Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within a reasonable time.
