Privacy Policy

Effective as of March 4, 2026

This privacy policy applies to the Score Keeper - Track Games app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Zahid Tekbaş (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application works fully offline for core functionality such as creating games, tracking scores, and viewing local game history. No internet connection is required for these features, and no data is collected or transmitted when you use the Application in offline mode.

The Application offers optional online features (collectively referred to as "Online Features") that require an internet connection. These include creating a nickname, forming teams, inviting other users, playing team games, adding friends, and viewing shared game history. When you choose to use Online Features, the following information is collected and stored:

• Email Address and Password — When you create an account to use Online Features, your email address and password are collected and stored securely via our authentication provider (Supabase). Your password is hashed and never stored in plain text. Your email address is used solely for account authentication and password recovery.
• Nickname — If you choose to create a nickname, it is stored on our servers. Nicknames are permanent and cannot be changed once claimed.
• Avatar Preferences — If you customize your avatar (emoji and color), these preferences are stored on our servers.
• Team Data — Team names, membership information, and invitation records are stored on our servers when you create or join teams.
• Game Results — When you play a team game, the completed game results (player names, scores, rankings, and round data) are uploaded and stored on our servers so that all team members can view the shared game history.
• Friend Connections — If you add friends, records of these connections are stored on our servers.

The Application does not collect or store real names, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information beyond your email address and chosen nickname.

The Application does not gather the Internet Protocol address of your device.

The Application does not gather analytics data or usage data of your actions.

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.

The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features.

The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.

Third Party Access

The Application uses Supabase (https://supabase.com) as a backend service to provide Online Features. When you use Online Features, your data (as described above) is transmitted to and stored on Supabase servers. Supabase processes this data on behalf of the Service Provider. You can review Supabase's privacy policy at https://supabase.com/privacy.

The Application uses Supabase Email Authentication to create and manage user accounts. When you sign up, your email address and password are securely transmitted to Supabase for account creation. A JSON Web Token (JWT) is issued to your device to securely authenticate requests to the server. Your email address is used only for authentication and password recovery — it is not shared with any other parties or used for marketing purposes.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
• when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

Opt-Out Rights

Online Features are entirely optional. You can use the Application fully offline without any data being collected or transmitted.

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Data Retention and Deletion

Data stored locally on your device (game history, settings, backups) remains on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the Application.

Data stored on our servers through Online Features (profile, email address, teams, game results, friend connections) is retained for as long as your account is active.

You can delete your account and all associated online data directly from within the Application via Settings > Delete Account. When you delete your account, all your online data is permanently removed, including your profile, team memberships, friend connections, and invitations. Teams you created will be transferred to another member if one exists, or deleted entirely. Your local game data is not affected by account deletion.

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. The Service Provider encourages all children to never submit any personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services. The Service Provider encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage and to help enforce this Policy by instructing their children never to provide personally identifiable information through the Application and/or Services without their permission. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personally identifiable information to the Service Provider through the Application and/or Services, please contact the Service Provider (zahidtekbas@outlook.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions. You must also be at least 16 years of age to consent to the processing of your personally identifiable information in your country (in some countries we may allow your parent or guardian to do so on your behalf).

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains. All data transmitted between the Application and our servers is encrypted. Access to online data is restricted through Row Level Security policies, ensuring that users can only access data they are authorized to view.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

Your Consent

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
